GENRE??? What's that is the question that I asked myself. I was really lost because when I thought of that word first thing that came to mind was music. After my teacher Zack (Z Man) taught me that it was used not only for music but is used in our everyday lives I became a little more confused. After the 3rd week of him constantly repeating in depth what it actually was I became a little more comfortable with it. In my PB1 paper I wrote about a topic, for real I didn't go in to details of what it actually was. I was talking about the specific product and it wasn't even what the assignment was about.

 Z Man has many techniques and he always uses his nesting dolls so we can break it don't to the "Nitty Gritty" as he would say lol.  Zack also talks about genres and how its made up of all of these ingredients.

  Without him actually using these different techniques and actually explaining in so many different ways what a genre actually was and meant I would've been lost and my wp1 would have been incorrect.

PB1-B : The Holy Bible

         As most of us know the Bible has a lot of literary Genres. It is very detailed and helpful to people who use it as a guide to live a righteous life. The best way to read a Bible is like reading a regular books because it has a lot of good information how the earth and the heavens along with hell was created. Some people such as "non believers" of Christ would read this a lot differently as if its a bunch of lies because of what they already been taught or what they have grew up to know. Sometimes people can misinterpret what the passage is really saying because of the words, phrases, and descriptions. Another Genre when God speaks. The words are written in red while the rest of the words are written in black.

        Some people won't scan or skim through the Bible because one chapter leads to the next and if you read without going in order sometimes you can get lost in the text and would have to start all over. I can read this like a writer  and point out certain things that interest me and some that don't. I can also write things down so as I'm going along so that way  I can have a better understanding of what I just read. Reading like a writer is by choice just like they said on the website intothyword.org "that the Holy Spirit touched these servents of god who wrote the Bible to glorify his works".

       Reading the Bible rhetorically is by getting all the information you know is important and use that for your writing to point out key points . For example if I was to start writing down scriptures i would jot down the key points to the scriptures so that that way I would be a little familiar with what I wrote and it'll be easier for me to remember because it's in my own words.

The Genre I'm going to be writing about is on Skin Care Treatments !!!! The specific treatment I'll be talking about is the formally know famous skin/acne treatment called Proactive. This product has been around since 1995 and let's just say it's not as good as some of us would've though it was. I've done a bit of research and came across many websites that were for the product that weren't  because of its many false advertisements.

             Well the founders of this product had everyone believing that this specific treatment was able to clear blemishes, repair and restore your skin. They also said that after two weeks of using this product  you will see Jurassic results with your skin, however I have read a couple reviews from other helpful websites that enlightened me on this helpful information as well. One website that I retained  great information from is proactivereview.exposedskincare.com . Now proactive is supposed to be this amazing solution that's supposed to have your skin feeling rejuvenated its purpose is to minimize bumps, scars from prior acne blemishes and most importantly to minimize pores. Well lets just say after reading the "REAL" ingredients in proactive they have been selling their products that contain no Salicylic Acid, (unclogs pores) Azelaic Acid, (normalizes skin) etc... This has been a lie !

 Now I have also gathered information from Proactive's own website proactive.com and they have many good review on their products, " REAL LIFE TESTIMONIES". This one lady one there by the name of Christy1 says and I quote " Works Great! I would recommend this to my family and friends" now I'm thinking Christy never went on and read up a little more on what it is that's she putting on her face because if she did I'm almost certain she wouldn't have gave them 4 stars and her comment/review would've went a little something like " THIS PRODUCT SUCKS" LOL. 

     Personally I think this product isn't all that good and I agree 100 percent with the first website because this information came from The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Although they criticized the works of the product they also made great points on the pros and cons of this specific treatment .
